The former British number one returns to Hurlingham for the third time as part of the legends field. A strong grass court player, Rusedski reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon in 1997 which was his career best result at SW19. He followed up this strong form at the US Open where he reached the final, becoming only the second British man to do so since Bunny Austin at the 1938 Wimbledon Championships. These impressive performances saw Rusedski reach a career high ranking of fourth in the world, as well as being voted as BBC Sports Personality of the Year for 1997. Since retirement in 2009, he has worked as television analyst and commentator for Eurosport, Sky Sport and the BBC and currently works as Great Britain’s junior Davis Cup Captain.
